I have learned through my years on this earth, that in order for me to maintain a clean diet, I need to have a well stocked kitchen. If I am missing ingredients or low on groceries – I slip. I cave and make poor eating choices. This, tends to spiral into a week or two of bad eating habits before I snap back into gear. YOYO DIETING IS SO BAD Y’ALL!!!!
I figure I can’t be the only one who falls into these routines from time to time! In an effort to stop the madness and maintain a 90% clean eating diet and lifestyle – I have come up with a list of key grocery staples to keep us on track!

What are YOUR go-to clean foods?

I totally agree you have to keep things on hand. i even started prepping my key ingredients in batches to make it extra simple.
serrrrrriously… It’s BAD NEWS when I don’t go grocery shopping
I try to make things in batches – meal prep has made life so much easier
uh wow. you nailed most of mine too. I try to make my go to foods ones my GRANMOTHERS ate
simplifies it all for me.
i love that!! That post you wrote about eating only foods your grandmother would, really stuck with me!! It’s so true!
Yepp – you covered pretty much all my favorite go-tos ! Very comprehensive list. Recently I’ve been making salads with those veggies (especially carrots, avocado, and bell peppers!) with some fish (tuna or salmon) allll the time. So satisfying
I’ve been on a huge salad kick. I always get like that when the weather’s warm!!!
You definitely covered my basics although I’m allergic to nuts so I’m missing out on all the lovely nuts butters, etc. Greek yogurt pretty much makes an appearance in my diet all day long.
mmmm now I want to go grab a chobani!
Agreed, all of my staples are on that list. Really, as long as I have a few veggies, I can turn them into anything edible!
Loving the list
. I need to work on stocking up on more veggies!
Looks like my list!
Great list! I’ve got loads of those things you listed on my list too
(I don’t think I used the word ‘list’ enough lol)
Love the list! My go-to’s: avocados, salmon, & brussels sprouts. I’m obsessed.
I’m ADDICTED to brussels sprouts. it’s pretty ridiculous
My husband hates me right now. The house always smells. LOL
Love this, thank you!
