Wedding Music Wednesdays is going to be a new feature on my blog where I showcase music we are having at our wedding.
This weeks theme; ROCK IT OUT. A few songs on our playlist that fit the rock category (in one way or another)
1) “First Date” by Blink 182 - Not exactly your typical wedding song, but we both love old school blink and this song is kind of perfect for US as a couple. We’re both pretty awkward, ridiculous, and ever so slightly over the top… Besides, “lets make this last forever” perfect wedding lyrics, if you ask me. 
I’m also taking a moment to bask in the immaturity of Blink 182 videos. They’re so fabulous. Like mini-movies almost.
2) “Reptilla” by The Strokes - We just love this song. Well, okay — The strokes, period more or less. All of their songs have such a nice beat. The “tap your foot and bob your head without realizing it” type of beat. Reptilla is no different. GREAT upbeat song for the dance floor.

Great post… I think the videos look GREAT as they are. I use my iPhone sometimes. I also have a flip cam that is pretty easy to use. It stands, which means you don’t have to hold it. Try holding your iPhone sideways, that way the video takes up the whole screen and we get some background action. Just a thought/suggestion.
fun! i just started looking at father/daughter dance songs this week – tearjerkers for sure!
i think the B182 song is definitely fun and appropriate if you guys love it!
