This week’s Playlist Thursday was really a blast to put together. The theme, I’ll just get to right now. Songs That Remind You of Childhood. It was quite the fun little tour down memory lane!! I spent a good hour and a half just listening to a whole buttload of songs that remind me of childhood. There are just so so many. However, it wouldn’t be true to ‘childhood’ if I used a current song, so I changed the format up a little this week for mine. Just a tad… you’ll see

Side Note: I loved old school Green Day. Dookie, ahhh. Will always be one of my fav albums. My mom and I used to dance around the house to Green Day during their dookie era all the time. Its seriously one of my earliest memories. 
Funny enough, the second concert I went to was the Green Day & Blink 182 Pop DISASTER tour.. haha

Side Note: Okay… In all fairness this song doesn’t bring me back to chilhood but there are sosososososooooo many teen-years memories involving this song. Allen, Kyle, Dan… Many many road trips. The red civic… Oh jeeze. Nostalgia.
Quotable: I hope this song starts a craze. The kind of song that ignites the airwaves. The kind of song that makes people glad To be where they are, With whomever they’re there with.

Pink Floyd “Money”. My dad played it all the time when I was a kid. (And “Pop”? Was definitely late high school for me…)
hahaha I must be older then you, my childhood songs are by Madonna and Tiffany and New Kids. I love Green Day and remember the concert (thanks I’m adding this song to my playlist for my marathon).
YAY BOY BANDS! LOVE IT! Such a huge part of my childhood for sure! Backstreet Boys definitely my very first concert!

Weezer’s Green Album brings me back to summers in high school! Whenever I hear Island in the Sun, I’ll forever think of driving to the beach every morning in my friend’s Mustang blasting that album. LOVE it.
PS I’m obsessed with Brand New. Deja Entendu was my 2nd favorite album, and Your Favorite Weapon is my #1 – hands down. They. Are. AWESOME.
